Building and operations
- Structure and envelope, roofing, drainage, mechanical and electrical systems, access safety and technical areas are reviewed within the agreed scope. The impact of a deficiency also depends on use: ventilation failure has different consequences in an office and a specialized warehouse.
Coordinate access
- Roofs, electrical rooms, mechanical spaces, leased units and specialized equipment must be made accessible. Maintenance personnel may provide essential context about alarms, failures, repairs and service contracts.
Specialized systems
- Refrigeration, fire protection, elevators, overhead cranes, industrial processes, cooling towers and environmental systems may require separate specialists or documents. Their presence does not mean they are fully covered.
A suitable deliverable
- The report may support acquisition, financing, work planning or asset management. Detail and additional services should follow that purpose.
