Building Inspector for the Greater Montreal Area

Toby is attentive and takes the time with his client to explain well. He has carried out nearly 2000 residential, condominium or commercial building inspections to date, certified Master Inspector (CMI) by APCHQ, certified for commercial and light industrial inspections by CCPIA, member of APCHQ and the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec (OTPQ). Since 2020, with a growing clientele, Toby has joined his team with three (3) certified but independent inspectors.
Prior to all of this, Toby was in the construction business for almost 17 years. He was able to climb the ladder of the construction management community, as a surveyor for the implementation of civil engineering works, and draftsman-designer for an engineering consulting firm specializing in municipal engineering projects, which led him to become a project manager of all kinds to finally obtain management positions in the building management department, municipal infrastructures, and public works for a few years.
With his experience in customer service and managing staff, Toby had wanted to become the owner of his own business for several years. In 2014, Toby, therefore, joined a major company of building inspectors as a franchisee, from where he managed to become a mentor and trainer for three (3) apprentices whom he eventually took under his wing for a few years. Subsequently, he decided to co-found Groupe Inspek with the aim of meeting his appointments and management needs, while offering better service to his future clients.
