With over 2,500 residential, commercial, and condominium inspections to his credit, Toby is a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) recognized by APCHQ for his expertise and professionalism. He also holds a specialized certification for commercial and light industrial inspections from CCPIA and is a member of the Ordre des technologues professionnels du Québec (OTPQ) and APCHQ.
Before dedicating himself to building inspections, Toby built a solid 17-year career in construction and project management. He began as a surveyor in civil engineering and then became a design drafter for a consulting engineering firm specializing in municipal infrastructure. Thanks to his technical expertise and leadership skills, he held positions as a project manager and later as a director in the management of buildings, municipal infrastructure, and public works.
In 2014, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Toby took a significant step by joining a building inspection company as a franchisee. His commitment to service quality and his role as a mentor to several apprentice inspectors solidified his reputation in the field. This experience ultimately led him to co-found Groupe Inspek, a company focused on optimizing inspection services and enhancing the client experience.
Toby stands out for his ability to communicate clearly and take the necessary time to guide each client through their process. Whether in French or English, he ensures that detailed reports and clear explanations are provided to help clients make informed decisions. Based in Greater Montreal, he and his team offer inspection services for all types of buildings, always with rigor, integrity, and attention to detail.
